BRUCE C. KAUFFMAN

     With sadness, we share the passing of Bruce C. Kauffman, age 90, of Browns Mills, NJ. He passed away on January 28, 2026 with his loving wife by his side. He was predeceased by his parents Margaret Morganthall Kauffman and Solomon S. Kauffman, his sister Mary Ann Newcomer, his son Bruce D. Kauffman, and his grandson Jonathan A. Kauffman.

     Bruce grew up in a rural Pennsylvania town and joined the Air Force following high school graduation. He was very proud of his military service as an aircraft electrician. He often referred to his 20-year military career as the smartest move he ever made. It was guaranteed, if you were close to finishing school, Bruce would pull you aside and encourage you to join the military as well.

     Despite assignments to faraway places like Greenland, Thailand, and Guam, he remained deeply connected to family. Bruce loved family reunions and never turned down the opportunity for a picnic, fishing trip, or playing games with the grandchildren. The card game UNO was affectionately referred to as "Grandpa Wins", not because he always won, but to challenge you to beat him. It was always lively and full of laughter.

     He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Florence J. Kauffman, his brother Steven R. Kauffman, daughter Patricia L. Hinton, daughter-in-law Deborah E. Kauffman, step sons Mark Moskos and Gary Moskos; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

     Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bruce’s visitation at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 31 Elizabeth Street, Pemberton, NJ 08068 on February 5th, 2026, Thursday from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM. The Service will begin at 1:00 PM. Military Honors will be delivered at 2:30 PM at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Arneytown, North Hanover Twp., NJ. Military Honors will be held indoors. Due to weather, interment will be separate and private.
